Current Sermon Series- The Bible Jesus Read
May 20-September 2: This spring and summer we will take a long deep dive into the treasured passages and stories from the Old Testament. Despite the fact that these texts are over two thousand years old, we will find that they are remarkably relevant and meaningful in our modern age. They have proven valuable to countless millions, and they can serve for our instruction as well.
These are the stories that Jesus heard and studied as he matured. From them both he and the early disciples drew their inspiration, courage, and values. Plan to be with us for each message in this series.
Special Congregational Meeting to be Held on Sunday August 26
Lois Mulbrook, President of the church council, has called for a Special Congregational meeting on Sunday, August 26, at which time the congregation will be asked to approve expending funds for two improvement projects. The first project is partial completion of the church office expansion which was not finished during the building addition in 2011. The second project is improving and replacing the almost 20-year old sound, video and lighting systems in Life Worship Center.
The special meeting will be held in the Life Worship Center at 10:45 am prior to the start of the 11:00 am worship service. The plan is to keep the meeting time to about 20 minutes.
