The goal of our Evangelism Ministry at St. Mark’s is to reach lost people with the love and truth of Christ and to help each member to fulfill the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:19. To help reach that goal offer courses which will help  equip St. Mark's members  to share their faith with others.

 

Alpha, a 13 week course exploring the Christian faith, was offered in the fall of 2009. The class of 28 found Alpha to be a friendly non-threatening place to grow spiritually and to become more connected with others.

 

A course called “Becoming a Contagious Christian” will be offered in November which will help us communicate our faith with others and live each day with a vision and passion to reach others with Christ’s message of hope and love.

 

 

St. Mark’s does not have an “Evangelism Committee” (by design!); we are all called to share Christ with others. Our mission is to share God’s love, welcome others into His church, and grow to become like Jesus.  Our goal is to provide training and opportunities for members to fulfill that mission.
