During the school year, children are invited to participate in hand chime and bell choirs. Children's bell choirs do not meet during the summer.

 

Handchime and Bell Choir
Rehearsals are held at St. Mark's on Mondays in Room 121:

    5:00 - 5:30 p.m. Joyful Sound for grades 2 and 3 and first time ringers

    5:30 - 6:00 p.m. Harmony Ringers for grades 4 through 8 

 

Each of these groups will offer their praise during worship periodically throughout the school year. If you are interested in assisting with the bell choirs, or if you desire more information, please call the church office (319-447-0100)

 

Vocal Music
Children vocal music groups are formed 4-6 times throughout the year to participate in special events. These are short term commitments. For more information, please contact Jessy at Impact@faith-life.org or call the church office (319-447-0100).

 

Special Music
All children participating in Children's Ministry have a praise and worship element of their meeting time.  Songs that are learned and sung during worship time may be presented periodically during the regularly scheduled worship times in the Worship Center on Sunday mornings.  Advance notice of these special musical offerings will be given.

 

Christmas Program
At St. Mark's we rotate on a yearly basis an all-children Christmas program and an all-church Christmas program.  Children are always involved in both programs.  Extra rehearsals may be required, but advance notice will be given.
