At St. Mark's we treasure our children and value their safety. All children attending Children's Ministry on Wednesday or on Sunday must be checked in on one of the computer stations through the "Checkpoint" system. The Children's Ministry hospitality teams will assist in this process.
Checkpoint is an add-on to the St. Mark's database software (ACS). Parents check their children in on the computer and a name tag is generated with a random number assigned to each child. A parent tag is also generated, with the numbers from the children's tags on it. The parent uses his or her tag as a claim check to pick up the children. Simply present your claim check to your student's leader, and/or sign out your student on the leader's attendance sheet.
We have check-in stations located in Room 112B on Sunday mornings and in the atrium on Wednesday evenings.
Checkpoint is a valuable tool to help connect children, families, and faith leaders together by allowing us to communicate effectively and efficiently. We generate lists of everyone who registers which helps teachers keep track of who is in attendance. We also generate lists of medical alerts for the teachers, snack and game leaders.
